Seattle area generac repair shop
I am having a number of problems with my 7.5 KW Generac gennie and I need to get it fixed.
1.) Doesn't always want to start especially after priming it. Turns over really slow and then stops. Relay gets really hot.
2.) when I do get it running, it doesn't always put out any power. Also, sometimes it'll show that it's kicking out 110-120 volts, but won't run an AC unit or the microwave.
I really need to get this fixed SOON. I have called a couple of places, but they don't seem to be able to grasp the problems. The starter has been replaced 6 times over the last 5 years, 3 at one time in the shop before they got a good one. I'm wondering if the relay may be going bad or if the preheat is drawing a whole bunch of power as the volt meter really drops when the button is pressed. I have redone all the battery connections at the genie that I reach and am thinking that mebbee a much larger hot wire from the battery might have to be run.
