I think AT&T provides the best nation wide coverage, but they don't have a plan that suits us. We're trying to avoid duplicating services anymore than we have to, but we still end up paying a lot of money for telecommunications between the 2 countries. We have iPhones from Canada and those are on contract, so we're paying monthly all year round no matter where we are. We buy some US minutes in case people call us on the cells, but we prefer they call the land line when we're there. We have a landline in our home in Nevada and we keep the basic on that so we can keep our phone number. When we're there, we have Internet to the residence as well, by some sort of cable. This is our first time we'll be taking an RV there, and we will be travelling to various places in the southwest, probably for a couple of weeks at a time at the most. So we only need some sort of mobile internet sporadically. I have thought of not using our current provider at all and changing to a mobile hotspot even when we're not travelling, but I don't think they'll ever be as good as our current provider, and we sure like the speed our current provider offers. I think wireless providers have data caps, too. Ok on the road, don't like 'em at home base.
