After being Executor for two relatives estates and having to clean out their houses, I have made a commitment (promised myself) to downsize in my older years so others won't have to go through so much stuff.
One of the worst things I see as the now deceased relatives didn't put names on the back of family photo's. 'That' generation is gone so there is no one to ask. Some of these relatives lived in Italy and are gone too. That's why we see old photo's in antique shops...lost souls.
We never get to choose the time that we 'go', so I'm hoping that I will know when it's time to start cutting things loose or giving them away to family.
