Septic Problem?

I was emptying my black tank the other day and noticed a piece of plastic pipe inside the outlet dump pipe as I was about to cap the dump pipe. My guess would be it's part of a inner sleeve that gave way? I currently have no septic leaks or problems? Does anyone know if Winnebago uses double pipes in there septic system between the floor (below the toilet) of the coach and the outlet dump. Has anyone had this problem before and what can I expect? My chassis is the obsolete Workhorse W-22.
  • Thanks everyone! I'm going to buy a lotto ticket tomorrow! Rooster
  • I think Old Biscuit hit the nail on the head Rooster. I am sure you would not have double piping. Yes! I would say you were lucky it come out without blocking the dump pipe.
  • The waste tanks come blank. Installers then cut holes where vent line, dump line and drain line go. They are suppose to discard the cutout disc. Sometimes the discs fall inside the tank, don't get removed and then later on owner has a blockage problem when the disc gets stuck at waste tank outlet.

YOU got lucky......should have bought a lotto ticket :B
  • No double pipe, probably a cutoff that fell in during the Winebagel build....I think you got lucky....
  • Probably a piece of construction trash the workmen left in the tank when they installed it.
