When was the last time you had your coach serviced? I've noticed prices have gone up dramatically in the last year or so. It used to cost around $200.00 to have the oil and filter changed, chassis lubed, generator oil and filter changed, and have the brake system flushed on a gas motorhome at our local Ford truck garage.
Last May I had the chassis oil and filter changed, the chassis lubed, and the brake system flushed (no generator oil and filter change) for just a little over $400.00. Prices have gone up considerably since businesses of that size are now required to provide health care, paid leave, and other benefits their employees didn't have in the past.
This is not a political statement, just an observation of what has changed over the years. When I was the shop foreman at the same dealership about the only benefits they provided were paid holidays and vacation. Health insurance was optional, but the employee paid the entire cost. Only the top management got the benefits most people expect today. - mccsixExplorerFind a Walmart with a high service door opening and get your gasser or dp oil changed and greased for less then $10, after you buy the oil and filter. Just did mine last week, after my buddy put me on to it.
- JimExplorerMuch, much, less. I use mobile RV services. An oil change, using my own oil, and they take the old oil away, usually is between $50 & $100 depending on location.
- ArchHoaglandExplorer$700 for an oil change? Is that at Paul Everet's?

- McKenziekExplorerGood prices. Wish they had one in Cen Cal
- univmdExplorerI pay the prices listed on Www.speedco.com which is much less!
