Wow indeed Fred! (amusing post)
I had to set an appointment specifically for the attention to my coach. And as stated, it was a complete waste of my time as it accomplished nothing as it turns out.
I paid for the transmission fluid (Transyd I might add and paid for the gallon). Three quarts hardly a top-off, but had I not asked, it could have been a different story as it was low. And I never asked for anything for free, it was being calculated in the estimate of everything being completed, (including the time spent/wasted with me). The website prices should have been matched or at least met somewhere in the middle. Just says something else about a business and their attention to detail! They aren't going to forget to do anything else on my RV and making up prices after you drive to their location...well it's just wrong!
And I am so tired of hearing how everything costs so much! Customer service...good customer service seems to always find a way to overcoming the costs of doing business. It seems to me that having pride in the workplace is quickly dwindling and in southern California, at an all time low!
Lastly, the mechanic actually doing the work should perhaps start a mobile service. Word of mouth could help his business dramatically instead of working for the man who let him down as much as he let me down!
