I bought some Thermo-tec 14125 double side flame retardant. It seemed to have some good old fashioned thick woven fiberglass like material plus 2 sides - one for Thermo-tec spray adhesive and the other for heat reflection from the motor. I got a fair amount, so might cover more than just doghouse, like under driver & pass floor, etc.
We'll see how it goes. Wish I had a sound meter. Maybe I can find an app for that . . . .
