Yes, and IMHO, it will
increase the life of your roof. Several years back, I bought a one year old used Class A that had not had the roof cleaned and/or waxed by the prior owner and here in Vegas, with the sun and heat, you could see and feel the roughness and damage in the strands of the fiberglass. It took the better part of two days to properly clean and wax. I currently use Maguire's or other top name brand, liquid wax and apply a medium to heavy coat with a foam pad on the buffer. I do it at leas once per year just prior to the start of the summer heat. and when possible, again in the late fall.
