However: Yes, the separate washer/dryer is by far better than the all in one Splendide. The all in one has a 2 hours cycle, only uses a small amount of water, and only washes a small handful of clothing each load. That said: We looked at both the Tiffin and Newmar coaches in our search for our current perfect motorhome (perfect for us for the moment). When the Newmars were closed for travel the slide and the floor make an uneven surface. We found at our age and with bad knees it was uncomfortable to impossible to walk from the front to the toilet or frig when fully closed. My daughter's first comment on walking into the Newmar was that the overhead cabinets where too small (short). Think about what you store in the overhead, will it fit. In our lifestyle of vacation travel, making stops every couple of hours, walking to the kitchen to grab a snack at a rest stop, the Tiffin by far ruled over the Newmar.
Back to the washer/dryer. This week we went to a beach resort with grandkids. Our RV and theirs, 6 adults, 4 teens, 2 children. Fantastic time, and the washer and dryer got a real workout keeping towels fresh. If we had the Splendide combo we probably would have just made multiple trips to the parks laundrymat. When we had the Splendide in our last RV, and Adventurer, we would run small loads while the two of us toured, like a couple of days of undies, or just two sheets, or just 2 bath towels and a wash cloth. Always small loads. If the washing piled up, it was off to the camp laundrymat.
Hope this helps.
Happy Trails.
