shout out to Snider Fleet Solutions

A week ago, leaving the outerbanks of NC, my Rt 'trailing arm' broke!
This causes a tremendous rocking side to side whenever you apply the brakes. We limped to Greensboro KOA. After many calls, I located a pair of Source heavy duty replacements at Alliance RV in Westwood, Fl. We made the 20 hr roundtrip drive in our toad to pick them up (each is 4ft long and about 120#s. Jerry at Snider Fleet Solutions was terrific at getting us into their shop in Greensboro, doing the replacements and putting us back on the road. Snider Fleet Solutions and service manager Jerry, are TOP NOTCH! Very professional, efficient; a very clean and organized shop. If you're in the area and need tires, alignment, or chassis work - these guys are the professionals! Highly recommend.
  • We used Alliance on two different occasions. Have only the highest regards
for their service and capabilities. Very customer friendly attitudes by all.
  • Yes, I had read about the problems before going to Alabama to look at this coach. I called Monaco in Oregon, gave them the VIN #, and got the word that this coach did not have any outstanding recalls and had only been in for warranty repairs once for minor problems. When I looked at the coach in Al, I called Monaco again to confirm because the arms didn't look any better than stock and ws again told that I would have no problem. Thankfully God was riding shotgun for me! Live and learn. BTW REV has moved customer service to IN or IL and they are worthless with tech questions now - the Oregon location would actually (on most things) really try to help.
  • I'm glad this ended well for you...but the danger involved is well known and sadly, although Monaco REV group has all the information on it, they don't even notify you..When they purchased the assets (and the owner info and coach info are considered an asset) that legally fell thru the cracks...Hopefully one other RR4R chassis person sees this and checks that the necessary work was done...some recalled ones were done with poor trailing arms early on and they will go again..You have the right ones and are good...Glad you are OK and got the right materials
  • Nice to hear of good service. Too many times we are quick to spread the word about poor service but never say a word about good people working hard and doing great work.
