Sitting @ Dinette w/slide in when stopped?
I was wondering if it is ok to sit at the dinette when stopped with the slide in? We were told we should not walk on the floor of the retracted slide on our 5th wheel. Sometimes space/time const...

I sit at the dinette and on the sofa with the slide in all the time, hasn't hurt it in 7 years.
There is/was nothing in my trailer or its paperwork to indicate that I shouldn't use them with the slides in....the first time I heard it was on this site but by then I had been doing it for a few years.
The only thing I try to avoid is stepping right on the edge of the floor of the slide
