Sitting @ Dinette w/slide in when stopped?
I was wondering if it is ok to sit at the dinette when stopped with the slide in? We were told we should not walk on the floor of the retracted slide on our 5th wheel. Sometimes space/time const...

I would check with the manufacturer to be sure, but if I was told not to walk on the floor, I wouldn't walk on the floor. Our MH has 2 slides, one in the bedroom with 2 bunks on it and the master bedroom wardrobe and the other has the sofa and stove on it. We do not have any placards stating not to use the bunks or sofa with the slide in and have used the sofa and bunks many times with the slide in without issue.
