Sitting @ Dinette w/slide in when stopped?
I was wondering if it is ok to sit at the dinette when stopped with the slide in? We were told we should not walk on the floor of the retracted slide on our 5th wheel. Sometimes space/time const...

We have sat in the couch hundreds of times on our slide with it in during the 14 years we have owned it. Our fiver has over 100,000 miles on it. The slide is still working. Is your slide mechanical or hydraulic? Our's is mechanical. I'm not sure how the hydraulic slides are supported.
