Sitting @ Dinette w/slide in when stopped?
I was wondering if it is ok to sit at the dinette when stopped with the slide in? We were told we should not walk on the floor of the retracted slide on our 5th wheel. Sometimes space/time const...

People are always disecting and over thinking the simple stuff!

Norco Industries and BAL Industries, Accu-Slide, Power Gear are the other major powered slideout manufacturers. None of their manuacturer websites say anything beyond do not overload the slideouts which have load limits of up to 1200 lbs.
Now the Schwintek In-Wallâ„¢ Slideouts from Lippert ARE limited to small queen bed slideouts, sofa only slideouts etc.
Thats the ones that are using a weird wiggly exterior gear system like this...
