Mine was tightened up in Quartzsite, They just put more tension on the spring, Works fine.

Read and understand my post. IF you manually rotate the awning by hand tighter and the sag does NOT go away, then adding tension will not do anything for sag.---I really do not care what is done elsewhere. I have 34 years experience as a RV tech and know full well what you can and cannot do to sagging slide covers. I would NEVER charge a customer for adding tension after doing my test. There is also a fine line between TOO MUCH tension on a slide cover that may affect extension of the slide room. Doug
