Slide out lock
I keep seeing advice on different sites and in my information I received with my RV which is a 2004 Four Winds Infinity Class A 31R. It says "Take out safety lock from top of slide before you open sli...

In he 30 years I've been RVing...I've never seen or heard of such an incident happening.
fordsooperdooty, it does happen, I had the bedroom slide come out on I-80 just East of Des Monies Iowa. Looked in the mirror after passing a semi and all I saw was white(the side of the slide). Let me tell you that is a little scary.
