slide out locks not engaging

I believe there is a magnetic proximity switch somewhere on the slide and another part in a bin on a frame piece that "matches" up with the slide to indicate that the slide is in, which then "tells" the locks to activate and lock. Don't know where specifically on your coach they are are but if that is what the problem is, I understand that it can be bent a little to make it closer to the portion of the switch on the slide. I understand the concept and Newmar factory explained how the slides work but may not be much help for lack of details.
