tatest , It is the Minnie 24F (I thought they were all called Winnie Minnie, but I was wrong). The slide out was made by Kwikee and I believe it has 2 arms.
Are there gear teeth on the underside of the arm?
If so then it does indeed sound exactly like a "shear pin" (a bolt as described above) has broken. Look underneath for a square metal tube that runs the width of the slide. There will be one of these bolts in each end and breakage is common.
