Thank everyone for the replies. I planned to spend this weekend investigating and fixing the slide out. But I had no problems moving both arms today so I searched for the manual and found 4-pages manual.
Here is a quote from the manual."While in the Manual Mode, each of the two room slide arms can be activated by press the IN and the OUT buttons. One button will retract the front arm. The other button will retract the back arm". Both IN and OUT buttons may be held down at the same time to simultaneously activate both arms to retract the room".This mode could be used when both arms are out of sync.
I guess somehow the manual mode was activated last weekend. If I had press both the IN and OUT buttons, both arms would retract. Turning off the house power would reset the slide's system.

We also have a Minnie 24F and can confirm that the slide has two separate motor driven screws that move the slide in and out. The front one is easy to see by crawling underneath. We have never had an issue with the slide, so can't help with the OP's problem.
I would really appreciate a post from the OP describing the problem solution when it is found, just in case the same thing happens to us.
