Slide outs stopped working

I have a 2007 Fleetwood Bounder 32K with Power Gear electric slide outs. Both slide outs stopped working for no apparent reason, I have positive 12+ volts at the controller connectors but have been unable to locate the source of the error.
  • All 3 of my slideouts stopped working simultaneously too. It turned out that myself or DW had accidently bumped the 12 volt disconnect switch near the front door. I was plugged into 110, so everything worked except the slideouts. Also, I have two 12v disconnect switches. Have you checked for multiple switches?
  • If the slides don't work with: engine on in park, parking brake on, and pushing the button to move the slides, I would call Fleetwood in the morning and ask for their help. When I first got my MH I called them a lot. Their number is: 1-800-322-8216.
  • I don't know the configuration on your Bounder, but on my 2007 Discovery you have to have the rear tv latched as there is a proximity sensor that disables the slides if its not latched. How do I know? I had the same problem. ;)
  • I had my bedroom slide out stop working, electrical also.
Turned out to be the 20 amp slow burn fuse in the slide module was bad.
Good luck and post your solution when you find it.
  • Check your ignition switch. If the key is not in the correct position it will not work slides on my Workhorse W22
  • Our Damon has a key on the control panel in the hallway and it can sometimes get bumped walking by.
  • All, thanks for the inputs and suggestions. I resolved the issue by replacing the 6 volt house batteries, they were the OEM batteries and even though they indicated 12+ volts I suspect they were not putting out enough amperage to drive the slid out motors.
