And the drama continues. We have not fixed the battery problem yet, but Dh is in there now, see how they are.We have motorhome 99 Aerbus in driveway. The livingroom slide when we pushed the slide switch did a little jerk then nothing. We messed around a bit, he hit it for the upteen time and out it went..lovely right..no. Went to do back slide and same click noise as the front, but it decided to never move. Dh goes to front to bring that one in, a test, nope just a light click noise when you hit retract switch. Motorhome livingroom slide is out over neighbours driveway. Battery check done, at 11.6 each. HELP

Plug it in or start the generator or the ignition and get the batteries back up where they belong. That should help for a start.good luckLarry

We are plugged in, we did not take batteries out, just checked them. There is a click when hitting retract or extent switch that is all. He is looking at fuses under dash now.

The 11.6 voltage at the batteries is way too low. The motors that operate the slides take a lot of current and if any of the connections are not perfect, or the batteries are not fully charged, the slides may not retract. If you hear a click, the switch and the 12 volt fuse is fine. You will have a control box in your basement, where the click is coming from, that actually supplies power to the slides. Check all of the connections on the wires coming to the control box at both ends to make sure that they are secure. I still think it is a battery problem, just based on the voltage that you are seeing. If you want to double check your batteries, see how much the voltage drops when you push the slide switch. If, after the click, the voltage drops more, than that is a good indication that you have a problem in the battery circuit, not a fuse, etc.

You think batteries are not charged well enough Mh came with 4 year old batteries from someone that was not into a good maintenance schedule. Perhaps purchase of new batteries? Man if that was the problem with all that is going on with this MH what a friggin blessing that would be. As we have no DC power have to be plugged
