The only small(ish) diesel class A I have seen is the Monaco Vesta (and its twin, the Holiday Rambler Trip) which starts at 32 feet. Unfortunately, they no longer make them... I think there are only 2011 and 2012 models out there. They have a unique Navistar MaxxForce 7 front engine diesel with an Allison transmission and are very nicely finished outside and inside.
