Bill, ok, I will try to be a bit more civil...Our Tradewinds has been a great rig and it has over 144K miles on it, we enjoyed traveling. We now have a home in Washington and one in Arizona and a lot of our traveling is back and forth. We also do not have the big home with carport for the MH anymore. Yearly maintenance on the MH even with me doing most of the work is costly vs a gas rig. We may make one more trip cross country and we may make one more to Alaska but those are maybe's. The newer smaller rigs have just about as much storage as the TW does and with two or three slideouts they have more interior space. The only thing we will miss will be the washer and dryer and of course the torque of that big Cat. Our rig is 19 years old and its just time to move on. We had a 34J Bounder and loved it but with no slideout and that 460 getting 5 and 6 MPG was a killer when we bought the TW back in 2000. Even if we make a couple more big trips we can absorb the mileage as it will not be years on end like the first 12 years of retirement.
