GMandJM, it's not that I'm all that smart, it's on the glue trap box to use vegetable oil to remove anything on trap.

Good idea with the veggie oil. Wish I had thought of that. Called the local Fish and Game guy and he said "Just grab it behind the head and peel it off the glue board". I felt bad about it. The garage door was left open by accident.

We don't usually use glue boards since we don't want to catch the little lizards we have around (and the lizards are probably why we have the snakes around). But we had a batch of brown recluse spiders hatch out and hedge apples and sprays weren't working.

I'll keep the veggie oil thing in mind. Thanks.
