Mine retracts when someone breaths at it. It cannot be used unless it is turned off. I used to have one that Newmar replaced under warranty that had an adjustment for wind speed. The new one apparently has no adjustment, at least i cannot find it and it is not like the original. I did not realize it until long after it was caged out. Right now if anything happens to my awning I am not sure I would ever replace it.
