smkettner, thanks for weighing in. I quoted you because you offer such a good example of why I need to study up. Acronyms such as PWM and MPPT,even when you defined them, are just so much gibberish to me. Pulse Width Modulated - whatthehell is that? As for Maximum Power Point Tracking - the only PowerPoint I know about is a computer program. Do you see my problem? If I had a manual with a good reference section I could just look it up. For sure I can do that easily on my computer but sometimes you just want to get away from the computer screen for a while.
FWIW I do know what IMO means (my word, he's making progress...)LOL
