Soundproofing

Any information on soundproofing the engine cover on my ford v10 I would appreciate. Thanks in advance
  • Consider a layer of Dynamat Extreme, followed by a layer of Dynamat Hood liner.
  • Search on Amazon reveals that Dynamat offers several different products. Any particular one better than the other?

All depends on what you are trying to do. Sound, heat.
  • We used this one from Amazon with good results. I only covered the doghouse and had a couple pieces left over. It helps with both heat and sound.

X's 2. Our 98 Bounder T-28 V10. Dynamat did help quiet, and bonus, cool the front driving area.
