We've full-timed in our 2004 for 10 years with no spare - even driving to Alaska. We are very conscientous about keeping our tires in excellent condition - replacing before they 'really' need it, and keeping them properly inflated. Being full-time we carry everything we own so don't have the room for a spare. Also, we wouldn't have the strength to handle it. Granted, we could need a tire someday but we have roadside insurance. We just don't worry about it. If we'd have to wait a day or two for a tire we'd be happy boondocking and waiting!
