While pretty high, I feel you are comparing apples to oranges. How much higher do you think a Chevy Shop or Ford shop would charge for all the maintenance on automobiles versus an independent shop? A lot higher. Yes, the Factory Service center is great. They have all parts needed in stock and highly trained Technicians and you must expect to pay for that kind of service, which you did. I assume they kept you informed of all the costs prior to you authorizing the repair. You were free to decline and go somewhere else for some of the items you wanted fixed, but, you were there and they could get you done within a few days versus weeks at another facility. What was their stated shop rate? Doug
