Well folks, even after all of your input I could not find another solenoid. It has started for me the last couple of times. Like I said, it's intermittent. So, to insure that I'm not going to be stalled somewhere , this is what I did. Using the emergency start switch on the dash ( which never did work ) I ran a single wire to the starter solenoid and another wire to the hot side of the cigarette lighter on the dash. Voila ! It works. It might not be the proper way to do it, but we are traveling soon and I couldn't take a chance of stalling somewhere. Thank you all again for your input, and I'll be ready to take the flack.
You might want to double check the current draw of the starter solenoid to insure that you won't have a melt down somewhere, with repeated starting.
Like I said, I have a backup system of my own and after some experience with these coaches and starting problems, I wouldn't leave home without one, now. Naturally it won't help with a failed starter or main solenoid with some, but it will tell you if this is indeed your problem.
