Staying warm

Hi folks. I am new here and looking for some advice. I am comtemplating retirement and the purchase of a class A. I live in Alaska so I want something thats insulated well. I am looking at used Newmars but am open to suggestions. At my age I kinda like staying warm! Alot of our time will be spent traveling the Alcan and in the lower 48 but Alaska is home. Appreciate any info on differant brands of coaches, good or bad. Not so sure if Ill go gas or diesel but but good windows and insulation are concerns.
thanks and Happy New Year!
  • Talk to the Mfg.
Ask about cold weather package and where you live and expected temps.
Most coaches are not that well prepared by mfg or ordered by dealer to deal with it.Half measures of little heaters and wrapping pipes and putting bulbs in wet bay aren't much fun when trying to vacation and travel. Not sure Prevost and Newmar etc are that weel insulated heated and dehumidified without customer ordering.
