Steady Buzzing noise

I can only hear it in the washroom, but I went out to the basement area where the transfer switch is. There are two boxes there and it seems to be coming from one or the other. The transfer switch was just changed out 2 months ago. Any ideas. Thanks Macktee

    Thanks Dennis, nothing unusual at fridge vent, but hum is in hunky that the transfer switch is in. Going in on Thursday to get ladder put on rig and will have them inspect it then. Macktee

    My new (ESCO 50AMP) transfer switch hums too. I researched this problem and the manual recommended cleaning and tighten the contacts inside the box. Did that and it still humms, but a little less. Been doing it for 7 months now. Used an IFR temp gauge and showed no signs of overheating. I would have taken it back but it was done in Texas while I was running AC's and room fan 24/7 and never noticed it.
