stealth in a excel/wide body?

Hey guys - does anyone have the pleasureway excel TD? I am looking at a 2000, and am wondering about the wide body and whether it will be too hard to park that in major cities. Anybody have a wide body class b that can testify to parking in major cities? Is it too wide to park?

I know I've been posting all week moving from one kind of car to another - just trying to gather all the facts - thanks for all the input from my friends on here!
  • I've not heard of anyone complaining about Excels with regard to width. They are a couple inches wider, just like the Roadtrek 210s, but they don't fill the full 100 inches like some B+ rigs do.

Length-wise, an Excel is about 19-20 feet, so should fit in a normal parking space.

The only real way to find out is to test drive one, or just see how it fits in a parking space.

As for stealth parking, it still looks like a van, because of the way it tapers from back to front. However, the vents and awning will give it away to anyone familiar with "B"s.
  • Don't think it will be a problem our B+ fits width wise into parking spaces, but at 25+ feet and bicycles on the back I have to take a double space length wise. So I always park at the very end of a lot.
