Older TV's do not get Modern stations. the converter box goes between the source switch and the TV it must be on and the TV is then set to one of the following Channel 3, Channel 4 or AV-In (1 or 2 or whatever) When it is on it will show something from the converter box (press menu on the converter's remote)
Once you have a picture from teh converter box on the tv and looking sharp. from the MENU on the converter box chose SCAN how you get there veries Mine is Setup, install continue on one and right 3 times on the other.
