I tried searching but didn't find what I needed- so please excuse my question.Where do people store their Class A?We had a Class B Sprinter that fit next to our garage, but a class A won't.We are now looking at an A in the 33-35 foot range. I'm in the process of checking out storage areas near where we live. Closer is better but we're suburban so I'm expecting high cost. I'm even looking at friends/relatives that may have enough room at their homes. I'm also trying to find more permanent solution (I know- nothing is permanent), so I won't have an immediate storage need. I really don't want to move to another home with a larger yard at our ages.I'm assuming a lot of people keep theirs at home, but Im sure many can't. Experiences of other would be helpful.A poll would be interesting to see who does what.Thanks, BobEllicott City, MD

I rent it all year but don't use it in the summer. I can only use one roof air in this configuration and it's just too hot during that time (can be 118+ in July).My second garage is in the city of my other home in a huge building holding several hundred RV's of all types. The property is gated and camara'd also. I do have a 50 amp connection in this building. So, my bus is protected when not in use at each location. My brother is using my space in the 'big building' as he normally parks his 5th wheel at his residence. I told him to use it while I'm gone but 'skeedattle' when I come back home. Safe travels,MM.

Bob, I have no quick answers as I am a refugee from the Megopolis that is the east coast. There are storage yards and they are not cheap, they also rarely have power available to keep the coach batteries maintained. You can do that with solar, but unless the year you find has great security, put little panels inside windows so that they have a chance to still be there when you see the coach again. There is one small suggestion for you. A friend that has a coach he takes south every winter keeps his coach at a local boat yard. When fall comes and the boats come out and turn blue, he only has to go over and relocate it so it is out of the storage area, but then the parking area is open. Matt

I couldn't get that through the 'S' curve drive down to the garage so we kept it up in front of the house. the village didn't like that so we were forced to get a space at an outdoor storage lot but still kept 'Banana Boat II' at home as much as possible. we now have a 39' class A. we expanded the width of the driveway to make it easier to get in and out but we only bring it home from the storage lot to prepare for the season, end the season and to load/unload for trips. IF we ever move it will be to a place where we can keep her with us 12-mos.

We keep ours stored at a friends storage yard. Like rk911 we only bring it to the house to load and unload after a trip as it barely fits in our driveway.

I rent a garage all year long. Its not cheap, but I figure the benefits of inside storage when i decide to sell out weighs the expense. my coach is four years old, and looks like new. The Sun destroys the roof and everything else

we used to keep our 26' class A at home. it fit quite nicely by the garage. then we traded up to a 35' class A. We rent a space at an outside storage facility about 2 miles from our house. We pay for all year ($65/month)but only put the MH there in the winter or if we are having a lot of people over to the house and need the parking. Most of the time it lives in the driveway. There are no restrictions from the city about parking it there. Driveway is wide enough that we can use the other half for the car and truck. Having it at home makes it really easy to go on spur of the moment trips. And can be leisurely about prep and cleanup before and after a trip. Have 50A + water hookups. Will be moving soon, and next house we will install FHU connections. Just not practical to install sewer connection at this house and a free dump station is only a 5 minute drive away.

We are fortunate, we keep the coach at home with 50 amp service and a dump station. we use it as a second guest quarters when needed.

Store inside with about 80 other coaches, facility is 40 miles east of my home which works perfectly because I head east on most trips. The facility provides all coach services either there or they will drop it off for service locally.

Store it inside my home with FHU and 15' from the kitchen as those are about the only items we remove. Serves as a spare bedroom when needed and a cornhole court when we snowbird.

We have a 31' Vista and store it at an iStorage facility 5 minutes from our house..locked and gated for 80 bucks a month..on a concrete pad. We cover our RV from the Florida sun when not in use, tires also. Lee
