Storing your Class A

Where do people store their Class A?

We had a Class B Sprinter that fit next to our garage, but a class A won't.

We are now looking at an A in the 33-35 foot range. I'm in the process of checking out storage areas near where we live. Closer is better but we're suburban so I'm expecting high cost. I'm even looking at friends/relatives that may have enough room at their homes.

I'm also trying to find more permanent solution (I know- nothing is permanent), so I won't have an immediate storage need. I really don't want to move to another home with a larger yard at our ages.

I'm assuming a lot of people keep theirs at home, but Im sure many can't. Experiences of other would be helpful.

A poll would be interesting to see who does what.

we used to keep our 26' class A at home. it fit quite nicely by the garage. then we traded up to a 35' class A. I couldn't get that through the 'S' curve drive down to the garage so we kept it up in front of the house. the village didn't like that so we were forced to get a space at an outdoor storage lot but still kept 'Banana Boat II' at home as much as possible. we now have a 39' class A. we expanded the width of the driveway to make it easier to get in and out but we only bring it home from the storage lot to prepare for the season, end the season and to load/unload for trips. IF we ever move it will be to a place where we can keep her with us 12-mos.
