I've experienced the same issue with my Power Gear kitchen slide a few times. I'm now getting pretty good at reprogramming the slide control. I could have helped had I read your post sooner.
My coach was level when it happened each of 4 times. You may want to print the programming instructions and keep them in the coach for future use.
