Strangest thing seen while camping.

Couple years ago we were camping at Potato Creek State Park in Northern Indiana, (near South Bend, Indiana). We had an evening sun campsite, so behind the campsite was a row of thickly forested trees. My wife had her back to the trees and I was facing her and the trees. We were both watching the fire. It was about 7:30 pm. I looked up from the fire and standing behind my wife, not more than 6 inches was a female deer. Any closer and it's nose would have touched the back of her head. I simply said, "Honey, very slowly turn around!"

I'm not sure who ran faster ... in opposite directions!
