We like to go BC Parks boondocking at Buttle Lake. A few years back we watched this older motorhome come in and try to fit into a site too small to turn into. Finally he wiggled it in, and within a few minutes a bouncing buxom lass came over and asked if we had a broom and dustpan. Her first time camping, and they had tried a closer site to town but it was full, then took a back road to Buttle. Most of the cupboards had launched their contents, and she took it in strike.
A few minutes later the lad comes by, asking if we have water. I point him to the well hand pump. Oh dear.. how to fill the rig? Out of the site again and over to the well and for about two hours he is filling five gallon pails and slopping it into his gravity fill pocket.
I hope the rest of their weekend went the way they planned it, it certainly wasn't the best start!
