I could write a book on strange and funny things that have involved hubby and I while camping
...... Being the only ones in a remote area with numerous blk bear. Waking up to the sound of something clawing at our tent I had never seen hubby move so fast. He grabbed the knife and bear spray tore through the inner tent only to find a giant bullfrog trying to climb up the side of the tent.
...... Every night I was blaming hubby for the foul smell in the tent. After a few nights I opened the back window only to be nose to backside of an elk.
The elk was doing his job behind our tent. Apparently this was his evening route.
.......We quite often took our inflatable boat with us when bush camping. It was very hot and I thought I would cool off while hubby inflated the boat. We were on a numbered lake in northern Ontario. We had travelled down a logging road for about 4 hours and seen nobody. Just as I came out of the water wearing nothing but a few drips of water, I looked over and saw 2 men staring at me. I stood tall and looked straight at them and said , where the h*** did you come from? There was no sound of a vehicle, 4 wheeler, nothing.
I could go on and on with stories, LOL
