The shop best qualified to work on my problem says the charge would be 1 hour for taking the reel out, 1 hour for the repair work and 1 hour to put the reel back in the coach. This would be 3 hours at $115 or $345. I proposed that I remove and reinstall the reel and he do the 1 hour repair work. This would save me $230. Does the installation include hooking up the electrical wire? If it does, than go for it yourself if you feel that you are knowledgeable enough to hook up the wires correctly. If you are not, then maybe you can get him to at least hook up the electric.
