Suggestions on source for replacement awning fabric?

I have a 12'-2" wide (fabric) RV awning on my 2004 R-Vision Trail Lite Class A motorhome that needs replacement. I do not know if it is A&E, Carefree, or what have you... could not locate any name on it.

It currently has the cheap vinyl type of fabric but I would like to replace it with Sunbrella material.

Does anyone have a suggestion for where I can find the best price on Sunbrella replacement for this awning?

Thanks!!

  • You will not go wrong with the following vendor.

  • Thanks for the quick replies. Appreciate all.

I can understand that the vinyl is less expensive but I think I want to have it last longer this time. I just want a cheap line on the good stuff.. haha, sorry. The MH is a 2004 but the original vinyl fabric lasted me about 8 years before major failure. I replaced that and then the replacement fabric lasted only another 3-4 years and its showing cracks now already.

I just contacted that ebay seller (ShadePro?) and they said they can make me a copy of that vinyl one in Sunbrella for $619. I might go that route to see if it gets me any farther down the road. They also make some killer matching window awnings I might bite on too.
  • I just went to an upholstery shop that does auto interiors and boat canopies. He had samples of Sunbrella fabric and was able to order it and receive it in a few days. Then they just copied the old canopy.
I removed the old fabric and installed the new fabric when they were done. Total time was about one week.
  • Have you looked at J.C. Whitney? Mine is beginning to crack as well. A few years older than yours. It has held up well actually.
