I think it's more of a time measurement rather than miles. My coach had 18,000 miles and was 5 years old and I had empty brackets when I brought the coach home. The Ford originals more or less melted. Wish I had taken a picture.

I have a picture someplace of the carnage. It looked like dripping ice cream. I couldn’t believe the condition of them when I was working on it. I’ll see if I can find the pics.
