sway bars

I have a 2008 Itasca Suncruiser on W-22 workhorse chassis. We get a lot of rock and rolling on uneven roads. Also get considerable leaning on banked roads. We don't get any tail wagging just the pitching/yawing/leaning. Has anyone with a similar MH installed sway bars? If so did it help the situation? Would you install front and rear bars at the same time or just the back to see the effect. Any info or other suggestion would be appreciated.
  • I just installed one on my motorhome. Although it's a F-53 Ford chassis, I can't imagine the end result being any different. I installed a Hellwig sway bar, and it is worth every penny, and then maybe a few more.

I know you'll get the quick fixes and tell you to move the connections to a different hole on your sway bar. That may work for some, but let's look at the big picture.

The sway bar from Hellwig is NOT a stock bar shape. The stock bar is straight between the bends at the end. The Hellwig has two "S" bends in it, towards each end. Those S bends prevent the Hellwig bar from twisting as easy as the factory one. That and the larger size makes the difference between the two.

I have done other suspension/ride quality upgrades, but that is one of the best.

THanks for the info!!! Did you just add on a rear bar?
