Here is a good one for ya…We have a 1995 National Sea Breeze M129. I know what all the various switches do from one end to the other, except one. There is a switch on the dashboard in the row of switches that are installed there that is labeled “AUX 3”. It is factory installed but I have no idea what it does. The people we bought it from didn’t know either. It may do nothing for all I know but I figured I would through it out to the group…any ideas?
It's most likely a spare for whatever and I used mine for by-passing the engine's electric fan. I thought it might help to turn it on ahead of time when climbing long steep grades. We did so a lot with this last trip, but not so sure it really helped all that much. My main goal was to try and keep the tranny oil cooler and yes, it will come on it's own, once it gets hot enough.
Didn't mean to get carried away and off the subject matter here, so if you'll look behind the panel, you'll most likely see that there's wiring on one side of the switch only.
