We towed a 2008 Chevy Colorado 4x4 many miles. The odometer does not register miles. We use the Roadmaster Falcon II Tow Bar that stows on the RV. Roadmaster will service their tow bars at rallies. Great company. Never had any problems. Make sure that you do have it serviced every 2 years or 20,000 miles. You can call Roadmaster for where to have it serviced. We are on our 2nd tow bar. Roadmaster rebuilt the first one and then we replaced it based on their recommendation of replacing the tow bar at 70,000 miles.
