Synthetic oil Coagulating
I had quart of oil I cared in my Motorhome as a spare. When I went to add it noticed going down screened funnel very slow when I got to end saw some kind of gelled substance on bottom? I am not sue ho...

Technically, I think you are wrong. I've got a car that is factory filled with Mobil 1 also, BUT the manual provides a spec that several other synthetic oils meet. Mobil has just cut an advertising deal with some manufacturers that gets their oil in as factory fill and even the Mobil 1 logo on the oil fill caps sometimes.
GM requires dexos certified oil to meet warranty requirements. Dexos is a GM specification not an oil or automotive industry spec. Mobil 1 does meet the spec as well as some other oils. Other auto manufacturers no doubt have their own requirements regarding oil.
