That's one of the things I've debated. I'm not at all opposed to using plumbing components (or anything else) even to get the pedestal portion done. That being said, I've got a lot of metal, creativity and tools at my disposal so I'm hoping I can come up with something. I'm just tired of making things. At some point it would be nice to just have the solution be just a few clicks away. Such is life I suppose. Maybe if I wasn't such a picky old fart at 36. :D
One idea I bounced around was starting with a desk chair base and going from there. But then I heard the theme from Sanford and Son rolling through my head and decided that wasn't the best solution.
