We used it once and it did temporarily cure the problem. By temporarily I mean for about a year. I our case I used very warm water and drove it for about 30 minutes before draining the tanks. I was surprised how much gunk came out since I always flush both tanks until only clear water comes out.
It took nearly an afternoon to fill the tanks, drive around for a while, and flush the tanks. It didn’t seem to be worth the time and effort. For the next 10 years we looked down the toilet to gauge the level of the black tank, and figured 6 showers and dishes for 3 days was about all the grey water tank would hold. Even if we made a mistake on the grey water tank the worst that ever happened was a little standing water in the shower.
