I'm about to rent a Class A RV for 12 days to drive to the four corners area with my family. I've never driven a large RV and although I've been to four corners, I have no idea if I'll have challenges...

This is my recollection too. Nothing. Also someone else mentioned a lot of campsites don't open until things thaw out a bit.
We've only scratched the surface, but there appear to be a lot of State Parks in New Mexico with places to camp.
But if this is their first time RV'ing, I'd strongly recommend a RV Park with a paved, pull-thru pad, and Full Hook Ups... ;)
